12. The Blame (Nothing's Free In Hollywood) Reprise
More Info:
With this first solo album, David Shelton has put together a collection of original songs important to him and his life at this point in time. This very personal record came to be with the abilities and love of the many dear friends that made it possible at all. Ever since he got his first guitar from Blue Chip Stamps at the age of 7, David has found little else he could do that brought as much joy as playing and singing in front of people. From playing in bands by age 14 to selling out local venues by age 19, he's performed countless shows across the U.S. to Europe, Mexico & the Caribbean. From the early days with his bands The Gas Moguls & Pla-Haus to Francesca Gregorini (stepdaughter of Ringo Starr) and currently with Don Felder (The Eagles) David's abilities have kept him sought after and working steadily. Crimson Crowbar is the longest running project David has ever been a part of. After beginning in 1991 as a way to play with the huge network of pro player friends in Los Angeles, David teamed up with Frank Simes (guitarist for Roger Daltrey & Don Henley) in 1993. Together they've recorded 3 CDs and performed 1000's of shows. They still get together and perform their well known duo around L.A. and abroad on a regular basis. Whenever Frank is away Crimson Crowbar turns into a 'collective' of touring pros. On any given night you can find David appearing around Los Angeles with members of Oingo Boingo, David Gilmour, Gov't Mule, Pat Benetar, Five for Fighting, Lionel Richie, Smashmouth, Chris Cornell, Crosby, Stills & Nash and Joe Walsh. The list goes on and on! David has also composed 100's of musical pieces for film and television that have aired around the world. One particular piece was used by Sony for the Playstation2 for the video game Major League Baseball 2006.
