At The Encore' is an original Gateway Records release from 1962 debuting Harold Betters (better known as "Mr. Trombone") accompanied by his backing trio John Hughes (piano), Joe Ashliman (drums) and Al O'Brien (bass). This album inaugurates Gateway's entrance into the jazz field. Though Betters is a fairly niche and lesser known artist, he certainly doesn't fall short on caliber, bringing that New York big band sound accompanied by intricacy and technique.
