A great example of early 1960's pop music when it was making the transition from doo-wop to pop, Stoney Jackson's excellent 1964 single "Where Is My Baby" b/w "I'm Goin' Home" features spot-on production work by Rod McBrien, who later engineered The Shangri-Las huge hit, "Leader Of The Pack." The single's A side features a male lead backed by a female chorus with an insistent 60s pop beat, while the B side is more of an up-tempo bluesy rocker, originally done by doo-woppers Jordan and The Fascinations
