Invocator is a Danish technical thrash metal band founded in the mid '80s by Esbjerg-based guitarist/singer Jacob Hansen. Early-2022 sees Hammerheart Records offer up vinyl LP reissues of the Invocator classics Excursion Demise (1991) and Weave the Apocalypse (1993)! Both albums were remastered by Jacob Hansen himself and sound very tight and bright. If you are into old Kreator, Dark Angel, Merciless and Dead Head this should be on your wishlist. An insane combination of high-speed technical thrash with a hint of death metal is the order of the day on their groundbreaking first two albums. First time on vinyl!
